Acupuncture Brighton
Stress, anxiety & sleep
A calm, professional space for people who need to slow down. Personalised acupuncture with Denzie Lamb BSc Lic AcC at Higher Ground, Brighton.
When you can't switch off
Modern life can leave us feeling constantly under pressure — juggling work, relationships and responsibilities while finding it harder and harder to rest.
If you're struggling with stress, anxiety or disrupted sleep, you're not alone. These are among the most common reasons people seek acupuncture.
At AcuWellness, Denzie takes time to understand your individual experience — not just your symptoms, but the patterns, pressures and circumstances that shape how you feel.
A complementary approach
How acupuncture may help
Acupuncture is a complementary therapy. It is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. If you have concerns about your health, please speak with your GP.
Stress & overwhelm
For people navigating demanding schedules, ongoing pressure or a sense of being constantly stretched. Acupuncture offers a structured pause — a regular space to decompress and reset.
Anxiety & emotional wellbeing
For people interested in exploring a complementary approach alongside appropriate medical or psychological support. Denzie works with you as an individual, not a diagnosis.
Sleep difficulties
Whether you struggle to fall asleep, wake during the night or simply never feel rested, your first appointment includes a detailed discussion of your sleep patterns and overall wellbeing.
Low energy & fatigue
Persistent tiredness that doesn't resolve with rest is often connected to stress and sleep. Traditional Chinese Medicine considers the whole picture — not just one symptom in isolation.

Common questions
Before you book
Does acupuncture hurt?
Most people find acupuncture comfortable. The needles used are very fine — much thinner than a hypodermic needle. You may feel a mild sensation when a needle is inserted, but this usually passes quickly.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person. Denzie will discuss this with you at your first appointment based on your individual circumstances. Many people choose to begin with a course of four to six sessions.
Can I have acupuncture alongside other treatments?
Yes, in most cases. Please let Denzie know about any medications or treatments you are currently receiving so she can take these into account.
Is there evidence that acupuncture works for stress and sleep?
There is a growing body of research into acupuncture for stress and sleep. The evidence base is still developing, and acupuncture is not a guaranteed treatment. Denzie will always be honest with you about what acupuncture may and may not offer.
